National Estuaries Days: Join us for a hands-on experience of our local estuaries and watersheds!

• National Estuaries Days 2007: More than 30 special events, boat and paddling tours, guided walks, wading trips and cleanups will be offered in celebration of National Estuaries Days.

Charlotte Harbor Nature Festival: A day to celebrate the natural environment of southwest Florida

Thank you to the many people who made past festivals so great. The next festival will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008! Be sure to mark your calendars! (Please note that the day was changed from November 15.)

Florida Friendly Landscaping/Plant Workshops Note: Because Hardee and Desoto Counties do not have staff dedicated to providing residents with "Florida-friendly" landscape information, since 2005 CHNEP has coordinated workshops in these counties.
