OCTOBER 7, 2006 NATURE FESTIVAL RAFFLE INFORMATION

Dear Exhibitor,

We are excited about your participation in the 2006 Charlotte Harbor Nature Festival! As you probably read in the brochure, exhibitors receive free space this year - but we are asking that each exhibitor donate an item for the on-site raffle. The raffle is important in helping us cover our costs from year to year.

How it works: We are going to have 4 hourly drawings at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm. Tickets will probably be available at the following prices: $2 for 1 ticket, $5 for 3 tickets. For each hourly drawing, the prize table will feature a different set of items of the greatest value to entice ticket buyers. Ticket buyers can pick which featured items they would like to win by putting their tickets in the respective jar (like a Chinese Auction). Tickets buyers can put in as many tickets as they like for any of the featured items they hope to win, but there will only be one winner per featured item. Ticket buyers can also designate their tickets for the general raffle, which will feature numerous prizes and winners for each drawing.

Recognition: As an exhibitor, the item you donate will either be a featured item or a general raffle item. Each exhibitor/donor who follows the drop off procedure will be listed as a donor at the raffle table. As an incentive to your organization, the featured items will receive additional donor recognition with a small table sign. The raffle committee reserves the right to designate an item as “general” or “featured.”

Item Value: Since exhibitor space is free, we are suggesting the estimated value of items provided for the general raffle be at least $20. Exhibitors/donors who hope to have a featured item in the Chinese auction should supply an item of higher value/desirability.

Drop Off Procedure: In order to be appropriately listed in the raffle materials, the exhibitor/donor must follow this procedure by September 29, 2006:
